What you will do
- Define and implement enterprise-wide data engineering standards and best practices.
- Provide expert guidance on cloud services (AWS) and data architecture decisions.
- Drive improvements in efficiency, cost reduction, and innovation across data.
- Mentor engineers and influence cross-functional teams including analytics, ML, and security.
- Collaborate with customer-facing teams to meet enterprise client data needs.
- Ensure data security, governance, and compliance with GDPR, SOC 2, and other regulations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of data engineering experience with 5+ years in staff or principal roles.
- Deep expertise in data infrastructure, ETL/ELT, and data pipeline orchestration.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native data services.
- Advanced scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar for automation.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and cross-team communication skills.
- Experience with data tools like Apache Airflow, dbt, Spark, Kafka, and data warehousing solutions.

- Familiarity with MLOps and ML infrastructure.
- Experience with security best practices and compliance frameworks.
