What you will do

• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to integrate flexible assets into short-term trading portfolio.
• Ensure front-to-end business readiness and manage implementation projects.
• Act as business owner for trading systems, defining requirements for algorithmic trading and market access.
• Design and coordinate short-term market access solutions and manage trading-related contracts.
• Enhance operational and technical capabilities by automating processes and modernizing systems.
• Ensure data quality for accurate P&L and performance monitoring to improve trading optimization.

Requirements

• Must be based in Essen or Munich, Germany.
• University degree in energy economics, information systems, engineering, natural sciences or related field.
• At least 3 years experience with trading systems and operational processes in trading environment.
• Professional experience in energy trading with excellent understanding of German Day Ahead, Intraday and ancillary service markets.
• Excellent spoken and written English; good German is a plus.
• Strong analytical, commercial attitude and communication skills.
