What you will do

• Manage and develop a distributed engineering team delivering reliable, high-quality frontend software.
• Conduct regular 1:1s and career development sessions to support engineers' growth.
• Foster an inclusive, high-performing team culture based on trust and feedback.
• Partner with Product and Design to align roadmaps and technical priorities.
• Translate product goals into actionable engineering plans and iterative deliverables.
• Support hiring efforts and team capacity planning with People Ops.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada.
• Strong software engineering background with experience in JavaScript and React.
• Proven leadership experience managing frontend or cross-functional teams.
• Ability to align engineering work with product strategy and business needs.
• Experience collaborating with globally distributed remote teams.
• Effective communication skills in English (B2+).

• Experience with observability products.
• Experience working with or monitoring Kubernetes.
