Data Engineer

Location: Hybrid work model based in Valencia, Spain with up to 120 days remote work within the EU, UK, and Switzerland, plus 30 days outside the EU

What you will do

• Enhance data model landscape to improve platform performance and enable faster insights for analysts.
• Design and optimize data models and table structures for efficient data consumption.
• Plan capacity for future data growth and evolving business needs.
• Collaborate with skilled data engineers to further develop a robust data platform.
• Work with analytics and downstream teams to develop high-performance ELT pipelines prioritizing data quality and reliability.
• Utilize technologies like DBT, Google Cloud, BigQuery, and Looker.

Requirements

• Comfortable with APIs and preferably knowledgeable about LLMs and raw text data.
• Experience with modern data architectures such as data mesh, data fabric, and lakehouse.
• Strong knowledge of database technologies and cloud data platforms, specifically Google Cloud.
• Experience designing and implementing real-time or streaming data architectures and familiarity with data cataloging and lineage tools.
• Proven track record of delivering complex data architecture implementations.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
