What you will do

• Define and lead technical strategy and roadmap for data infrastructure and analytics platforms.
• Architect, build, and scale data pipelines and systems powering analytics, machine learning, and business decisions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful data solutions.
• Champion data quality, observability, governance, and compliance globally.
• Mentor teams on data modeling, transformation, and code quality best practices.
• Drive operational excellence ensuring reliable and performant data systems.

Requirements

• Must be based in Spain for this remote role; visa sponsorship available.
• 8+ years experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
• Advanced skills in SQL, Python, and modern data transformation tools like DBT and Airflow.
• Expertise with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, Snowflake, BigQuery) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform preferred).
• Strong background in data modeling, pipeline orchestration, and distributed data systems (Spark, Kafka).
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
