What you will do

• Produce clear, accurate analyses for research evaluation and strategy projects.
• Prepare, clean, and blend data from multiple sources ensuring quality and reproducibility.
• Develop insightful visualizations and written insights to communicate complex ideas simply.
• Engage with internal teams and external partners to understand needs and propose analytical approaches.
• Apply statistical and computational techniques to support modelling, benchmarking, and evaluation.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the EU/EEA area
• Proven experience as a data analyst or similar role.
• Python skills including data manipulation libraries; PySpark experience preferred.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM technologies and programmatic use of AI models.
• Experience with SQL and data modelling.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Interest in research/science policy and academic research workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
