Location: Hybrid in Rotterdam with 40% office, 40% home, and 20% flexible work; limited abroad work possible with approval.

Salary: €80,000–€110,000 gross annually including benefits.

What you will do

• Design and build backend services in .NET for new digital heat onboarding and delivery flows.
• Translate business rules into maintainable backend logic and ensure consistency and resilience.
• Shape technical direction including API design and data ownership.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Frontend teams to enable simple customer journeys.
• Maintain backend quality through clean code, testing, and clear API contracts.
• Contribute to company-wide backend standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Must have extensive hands-on experience with .NET / .NET Core in complex business-critical environments.
• Strong experience designing and operating cloud-native backend services in Azure.
• Proven ability to work with Azure DevOps and fully automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Senior-level ownership mindset with decision-making in evolving domains.
• Strong English communication skills to align technical solutions with stakeholders.
