What you will do

• Own and lead the information and IT security strategy and teams across multiple security domains.
• Develop and maintain security frameworks ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data.
• Manage compliance programs such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and BSI C5, and lead risk assessments and audits.
• Oversee security architecture design and continuous improvement across IT infrastructure, cloud, and SaaS systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security-by-design principles and foster a strong security culture.
• Represent the company in security discussions with customers, partners, auditors, and regulators, including board-level reporting.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in security roles such as Head of Security or CISO with 5+ years in information security.
• Experience with IPO readiness, SOX compliance, and board-level reporting.
• Background in SaaS, AI, or technology sectors.
• Strong knowledge of technical security domains and international/EU compliance frameworks including ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC2, and BSI C5.
• Fluent in English; professional proficiency in German preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS Cloud and OnPremise Data Centres.
• Exposure to AI/LLM/Agentic security.
• Experience with security tooling and automation platforms (SIEM, SOAR, IAM).
• Background in rapid growth environments.
