Fraud Analyst (Fintech)

What you will do

• Review fraud risks related to card transactions and payment activity.
• Manage fraud investigation cases and deliver appropriate outcomes for customers and the bank.
• Recover funds through payment platforms and schemes, including VISA Chargeback.
• Support VISA dispute handling, financial reconciliation, and the bank’s change programme.
• Identify emerging fraud trends and communicate risks and prevention strategies across the business.
• Support training, coaching, and compliance with the risk management framework and internal policies.

Requirements

• Previous fraud investigation experience.
• Strong knowledge of transaction and payment processing rules, regulations, and platforms.
• Strong customer focus, communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to manage changing priorities and engage effectively with stakeholders under pressure.
• Technical proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.
• Strong organisation, time management, leadership, and attention to detail.
