TL;DR

Sales Manager (Fintech): Acquiring new corporate customers and managing existing accounts for an international payments platform with an accent on lead conversion, customer onboarding, and proactive engagement. Focus on driving repeat transactions, understanding customer needs, and collaborating with internal teams to improve product offerings in emerging markets.

Location: Hybrid, based in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, with extensive field visits across the country.

What you will do

  • Acquire new corporate customers in Côte d'Ivoire and expand to the UEMOA region.
  • Identify potential challenges and customer needs, converting leads into active, long-term customers.
  • Drive additional repeat transactions by nurturing existing relationships.
  • Guide new customers through the onboarding process, ensuring effective platform usage.
  • Proactively engage with onboarded, inactive, and churned accounts for reactivation and upselling.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to relay customer feedback and contribute to product improvements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years in customer success, account management, or sales roles, ideally in fintech, banking, international payments, or financial services.
  • Proven track record in managing and growing B2B relationships in emerging markets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English and French.
  • Results-driven, highly organized, and capable of working independently.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and data analysis.
  • Based in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, with flexibility for field visits.
