What you will do
- Build new product experiences in the Zable App for iOS and Android.
- Improve app performance, reduce tech debt, and enhance scalability.
- Collaborate with product owners to break down business requirements and estimate complexity.
- Organize work streams, optimize team performance, and drive individual accountability.
- Contribute to wider engineering and business initiatives for UK and US product scaling.
- Own and manage iOS & Android application requirements, including deployment and release processes.
Requirements
- Experience with product owners in breaking down business requirements and estimating complexity.
- Expert understanding of modern Javascript with Typescript.
- Experience leading cross-platform mobile development using React Native.
- Strong understanding of mobile user needs across various platforms and devices.
- Proficiency in setting standards for automated testing and addressing technical debt.
- Familiarity with approaches and tooling for accessibility guidelines and best practices.
- English: B2 required.
Nice to have
- Experience scaling products from zero to hundreds of thousands of users.
- Experience using GraphQL in a production environment.
- Experience scaling React Native to multiple teams.
- In-depth experience of mobile performance best practices and debugging.
- Experience with staged rollouts and multivariate testing.
- Experience with UI or UX design.
