What you will do

• Build new product experiences in the Zable App for iOS and Android.
• Improve app performance, reduce tech debt, and enhance scalability.
• Collaborate with product owners to break down business requirements and estimate complexity.
• Organize work streams, optimize team performance, and drive individual accountability.
• Contribute to wider engineering and business initiatives for UK and US product scaling.
• Own and manage iOS & Android application requirements, including deployment and release processes.

Requirements

• Experience with product owners in breaking down business requirements and estimating complexity.
• Expert understanding of modern Javascript with Typescript.
• Experience leading cross-platform mobile development using React Native.
• Strong understanding of mobile user needs across various platforms and devices.
• Proficiency in setting standards for automated testing and addressing technical debt.
• Familiarity with approaches and tooling for accessibility guidelines and best practices.
• English: B2 required.

Nice to have

• Experience scaling products from zero to hundreds of thousands of users.
• Experience using GraphQL in a production environment.
• Experience scaling React Native to multiple teams.
• In-depth experience of mobile performance best practices and debugging.
• Experience with staged rollouts and multivariate testing.
• Experience with UI or UX design.
