Location: Hybrid in Denver, CO or San Francisco, CA, United States. Expectation to work from the office 2-3 days a week. Relocation stipend may be available for those willing to relocate to a hirify.global hub location (Denver, San Francisco, or Santiago, Chile).

Salary: For San Francisco, CA: $183,000 - $215,000 USD. For Denver, CO: $155,000 - $182,000 USD.

What you will do

• Develop new customer experience capabilities and product offerings from design through release.
• Balance between speed to market and long-term growth by designing for the horizon and building for today.
• Bring an iterative mindset to experiment, learn, and iterate to provide the best experience for customers.
• Partner with Product to define appropriately sized initiatives to construct a roadmap.
• Preserve customer goodwill by ensuring system availability by participating in on-call rotation and addressing support tickets.
• Provide mentorship to engineers on the team and across the organization and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building web applications.
• Strong React skills including deep understanding of hooks, context, component patterns, and performance optimization.
• TypeScript proficiency in a production environment.
• Experience with JavaScript testing frameworks (Jest, Vitest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
• Experience running A/B experiments and using data to inform product decisions.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
• Excellent collaboration skills, comfortable working directly with Product Managers and Designers.
• Strong communication skills, able to articulate technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with experimentation platforms (Amplitude, Optimizely, LaunchDarkly, Split).
• Experience with state management patterns (Redux, React Query, Context).
• Familiarity with CSS-in-JS (Styled Components).
• Experience with feature flag systems.
• E2E testing experience (Cypress).
