Salary: $170,000–$240,000

What you will do

• Build core datasets for hirify.global’s financial reporting by integrating product, financial, and business systems.
• Partner with Finance, Monetization Engineering, Business Intelligence, and Data Science teams for critical reporting and analysis needs.
• Design, build, and monitor scalable data pipelines that meet current requirements and gracefully scale.
• Help democratize access to high-quality financial data across Finance, Staff, and go-to-market teams.

Requirements

• 4+ years as a data engineer building core datasets and supporting business verticals, ideally in high-volume product and business areas.
• Experience building integrations and reporting datasets for payments, finance, and business systems (e.g., Stripe, Netsuite, Salesforce).
• Hands-on experience shipping scalable data solutions in the cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) across multiple data stores (Snowflake, Redshift, SQL/NoSQL).
• Expert in SQL, intimately understanding aggregation, window functions, UDFs, self-joins, partitioning, and clustering for performant queries.
• Comfortable with object-oriented programming paradigms (Python, Java, Scala).

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience designing and building highly scalable and reliable data pipelines using BigData stack (e.g., Airflow, DBT, Spark).
• Hands-on experience building payment processing and invoice systems or working closely with teams that do.
