What you will do

• Lead a squad of 4-6 fullstack engineers ensuring technical delivery and focus on business goals.
• Design resilient, scalable solutions for event-driven and distributed systems with clear architecture boundaries.
• Coach and mentor engineers in technical and professional development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and designers to translate business needs into high-quality technical outcomes.
• Influence architecture decisions across the broader platform with pragmatic, forward-thinking approaches.
• Utilize GenerativeAI tools to increase productivity and enhance decision making.

Requirements

• Location: Based in or near London with hybrid work flexibility
• English: Proficient English required (job posting in English)
• Experience leading engineering teams and delivering scalable backend and frontend solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Python, TypeScript, React, AWS, GCP, Docker, Terraform, and DevOps practices.
• Ability to design event-driven, distributed systems and embrace continuous deployment and testing.
