What you will do

• Build new features and deliver continuous changes to client products using CI/CD
• Collaborate closely with the team on engineering initiatives and promote best practices
• Architect, design, build, and deliver highly available, zero downtime products
• Take responsibility for production operation and monitoring in line with SLAs
• Mentor and support career growth of engineering team members
• Participate in regular show and tells to promote work within the department and company

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the UK or Portugal
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, and modern frameworks (FastAPI, Gin, Express)
• Experience with React, testing (unit, integration, e2e, security), and performance optimization
• Knowledge of scalable system design, load balancing, high-availability architectures, and database optimization
• Experience with API development (REST, GraphQL, gRPC), caching, message queues, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and monitoring tools
