What you will do

• Build complex Ruby on Rails applications and server-side infrastructure.
• Collaborate with UI, connectivity, and DevOps teams to solve complex problems.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
• Evaluate and propose improvements to existing systems.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating new technologies and presenting architectural reviews.

Requirements

• Location: Lisbon or Porto, Portugal
• Strong experience with Ruby on Rails (5+ years) and Ruby.
• Excellent debugging, analytical, problem-solving, and social skills.
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming and design.
• Experience with Redis/Memcache caching and Postgres RDBMS.
