What you will do

• Lead and collaborate to develop responsive, precise, and scalable self-serve insight products.
• Oversee the entire data product lifecycle, including tracking plans, data models, ELT pipelines, and Looker products.
• Ensure consistent metric reporting and act as a guardian of data quality.
• Establish and maintain robust data observability practices including automated validation and anomaly detection.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to game product teams, enhancing their operations and product success.

Requirements

• Strong passion for solving complex analytical puzzles and translating business needs into advanced analytics solutions.
• Deep expertise with the modern data stack (BigQuery, Snowflake, dbt, Looker, Airflow, GitHub, command line-based workflows).
• Exceptional SQL skills with at least 5 years of relevant experience in data analytics or engineering roles.
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles (e.g., Kimball methodology, star schemas).
• Hands-on experience with data observability frameworks and data validation methods (e.g., dbt tests, schema testing, anomaly detection).
• Must be able to work hybrid in Seville, Spain.
