Salary: $155,000 - $194,000

What you will do

• Design and build end-to-end AI-native products from prototype to scalable production services.
• Develop and productionize core AI platform components including LLMs, vector databases, prompt tuning, and agentic frameworks.
• Iterate rapidly on AI products using performance metrics and user feedback.
• Evaluate and adopt new AI technologies and frameworks to maintain industry leadership.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to translate strategic goals into technical implementations.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• 1-3+ years of backend software engineering experience with Python, Golang, gRPC, AWS, and Kubernetes.
• Strong foundation in building and scaling backend services including microservices and APIs.
• Experience shipping or passion for AI-native products, especially with LLMs and agentic systems.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• Based in New York, NY or able to work onsite.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks, Langchain, MLFlow, or similar AI/LLM ecosystem technologies.
• Advanced understanding of probabilistic systems in modern LLMs.
• Experience building AI products in accuracy-sensitive domains such as finance.
