What you will do

• Refine and deliver product requirements with minimal support
• Collaborate with a cross-functional distributed team in agile methodology
• Participate in release and sprint planning
• Write clean, well-organized code balancing performance, robustness, and extensibility
• Work closely with other developers through pair programming and code reviews
• Design and maintain infrastructure as code

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid from Tallinn, Estonia
• Strong backend development experience with Java/Kotlin (mandatory)
• Solid understanding of microservice and event-driven architectures and RESTful APIs
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Kinesis, SQS, ElastiCache, Lambda, SES, S3)
• Competence with relational (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB/Cassandra/MongoDB) databases
• Familiarity with code testability, build pipelines, Docker, and CI/CD systems
• English: Job posting in English, assumed B2 level
