What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Kotlin (Ktor framework) and Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate).
• Architect and implement scalable microservices and serverless solutions on cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, ensuring effective monitoring, logging, and observability.
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality, reliable backend systems.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and optimize system performance.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Kotlin development.
• 7+ years of experience in Java backend development.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and exception handling.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Ktor (3+ years ideally).
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience designing scalable and resilient systems, including APIs and databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring/logging tools (e.g., DataDog).
