What you will do
- Improve system observability by enhancing monitoring, logging, and alerting.
- Automate manual billing and invoicing processes to reduce operational toil.
- Collaborate with finance and operations stakeholders to identify inefficiencies and develop technical solutions.
- Review code and mentor junior engineers on best practices.
- Lead efforts to improve codebase health and reduce technical debt.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership within the team.
Requirements
- Must have 3+ years in high-level technical support roles focused on billing, invoicing, or financial systems
- Proven advanced troubleshooting skills for complex business processes and data discrepancies.
- At least 1 year of software development experience with knowledge of Go and Python.
- Experience querying both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Excellent English communication skills to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Self-organized, goal-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite, DealHub, Salesforce, Workato, and Fivetran.
- Experience developing cloud-based solutions and using cloud services.
