What you will do

• Develop new features and optimize existing backend systems using Python and related frameworks.
• Build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Collaborate closely with team members and drive engineering best practices.
• Participate in knowledge sharing and promote work within the department and company.

Requirements

• Location: Must be legally able to live and work in Portugal
• Strong experience with Python backend development and frameworks like Django, FastAPI.
• Familiarity or willingness to learn Go and frontend technologies such as React and Typescript.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), containerization, and orchestration tools.
• Proficiency in setting up CI/CD pipelines and testing methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Nice to have

• Experience with multiple protocols like HTTP, GraphQL, and gRPC.
• Knowledge of databases including PostgreSQL, Neo4j, and Snowflake.
• Performance monitoring and debugging production issues.
