• Build and optimize storage and retrieval infrastructure for the Aggregates Platform.
• Ensure large-scale data architecture meets low latency and scalability requirements for billions of daily data points.
• Lead projects focused on system scalability, reliability, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with customer teams to understand use cases and implement solutions.
• Contribute to team growth by conducting interviews and attracting talent.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in backend and distributed systems development.
• Proven experience building and operating distributed systems at high scale (~billions of transactions daily).
• Expertise in streaming data systems (Kafka, Spark, Map/Reduce) and large-scale data storage (DynamoDB, Aerospike, Redis, Databricks).
• Strong sense of best practices in software development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a distributed team.
• Must be eligible to access controlled technology under U.S. export control laws and receive government authorization.
