What you will do

• Translate requirements into rapid prototypes and productize solutions using AI tools.
• Develop frontend components in React and backend logic in Java, integrating APIs and databases (PostgreSQL/MongoDB).
• Incorporate AI into development workflows for code generation, testing, and debugging.
• Maintain high code quality through unit tests and code reviews, mentoring team members on AI-assisted workflows.
• Advocate and implement improvements in system tooling and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Must work remotely from Germany or Romania.
• 3–5 years of experience building SaaS products with full-stack proficiency in Java, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Strong product mindset with ability to balance technical and user experience considerations.
• Self-driven problem solver with initiative and adaptability to fast-evolving AI tools.
• Effective remote collaboration skills within Central European working hours.
• English proficiency at least B2.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted development environments and tools like Windsurf.
• Startup or founding engineer experience.
