What you will do
- Perform daily and monthly reconciliations ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Match internal ledgers to external bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with Product, Finance, and Engineering teams to ensure accurate client money tracking.
- Support design and automation of reconciliation processes using fintech tools.
- Assist with Client Money Calculation, segregation, and CMAR submissions.
- Prepare reconciliation evidence for audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience in controlled environments with reconciliations (fintech, payments, trading, investment firms).
- Good knowledge of reconciliation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly across finance, compliance, and tech teams.
- Highly organised with ability to meet regulatory deadlines.
- Experience reconciling large data sets across multiple systems.
Nice to have
- Experience with fintech reconciliation or automation tools.
- Understanding of digital payment flows and client fund segregation.
- Familiarity with FCA CASS Rules (training provided).
- Experience in fast-scaling fintech or startup environments.
