What you will do

• Perform daily and monthly reconciliations ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Match internal ledgers to external bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Product, Finance, and Engineering teams to ensure accurate client money tracking.
• Support design and automation of reconciliation processes using fintech tools.
• Assist with Client Money Calculation, segregation, and CMAR submissions.
• Prepare reconciliation evidence for audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience in controlled environments with reconciliations (fintech, payments, trading, investment firms).
• Good knowledge of reconciliation standards and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly across finance, compliance, and tech teams.
• Highly organised with ability to meet regulatory deadlines.
• Experience reconciling large data sets across multiple systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with fintech reconciliation or automation tools.
• Understanding of digital payment flows and client fund segregation.
• Familiarity with FCA CASS Rules (training provided).
• Experience in fast-scaling fintech or startup environments.
