TL;DR

Senior DevEx Engineer (Fintech): Improving the efficiency of the Software Development Lifecycle for a smart saving and investing app with an accent on local testing, automation for integration & e2e testing, and internal tool development. Focus on enhancing observability across build, test, deploy, and runtime stages and collaborating with engineering squads to build self-service tooling.

Location: Flexible approach to remote working: we encourage at least 2 days a week in one of our beautiful offices in London, Athens or Cyprus. 45 work-from-anywhere days.

What you will do

  • Improve local testing in order to decrease the feedback loop on changes.
  • Implement automations which streamline integration & e2e testing.
  • Develop internal tools to enable validation of changes in dynamic production-like environments.
  • Enhance observability across build, test, deploy, and runtime stages.
  • Collaborate with all Engineering squads to build self-service tooling.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of working experience as a Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or in a similar position.
  • Passion for improving engineering workflows and developer productivity.
  • Security awareness with secure-by-default mindset.
  • Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational challenges and propose thorough iterative solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
