Hardware Test Intern

TL;DR

Hardware Test Intern (Embedded IoT Dev): Work with the engineering team to design, write, and test embedded software running on satellites and ground control/testing software with an accent on hardware testing and embedded systems development. Focus on developing software from scratch, scripting, and embedded system challenges in a space technology environment.

Location: Onsite in San Francisco, USA

Salary: $29 per hour

What you will do

• Design, write, and test embedded software for satellites and ground control/testing systems.
• Collaborate with the engineering team on challenging hardware and software problems.
• Contribute to projects that impact satellite operations and space technology.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in a B.S. or M.S. program in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience with Python and scripting languages.
• Experience with embedded systems or related hardware.
• Ability to design, write, and test software from scratch.
• U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status required due to export regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience with real time operating systems.
• Experience with FPGA or DSP programming.
