What you will do

• Define and scope comprehensive research plans including study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, and reporting aligned with business needs.
• Identify research needs proactively to drive business impact and prioritize opportunities with design, product, and engineering teams.
• Partner with senior leadership to align research with strategic product directions and roadmap prioritization.
• Communicate insights effectively to activate design and engineering processes and create emotional connections with customers.
• Coach and support product managers and designers in conducting customer conversations and prototype evaluations.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the United States or able to work remotely within the US
• 7+ years experience in user experience research or equivalent advanced degrees with relevant experience.
• 3+ years experience in research methods impacting product direction and design.
• 3+ years domain experience in software development sector.
• Strong quantitative research and data analytics skills preferred.
• User research experience with AI models and agents is an asset.

• Relevant domain experience with developer tools.
• Background in influencing platform-level data collection instrumentation decisions.
