What you will do

• Design and enhance hirify.global’s networking agent and communication protocols.
• Develop secure tunneling, NAT traversal, and reconnection mechanisms.
• Optimize data paths using OS-specific low-level operations.
• Profile and improve network performance including latency and throughput.
• Build cross-platform abstractions for Linux, Windows, macOS, mobile, and embedded systems.
• Collaborate with platform, infrastructure, and security teams on system design and deployment.

Requirements

• Remote work only.
• Senior level experience in network engineering or systems programming.
• Strong proficiency in C, C++, or Rust for low-level development.
• Deep knowledge of networking protocols, IP routing, NAT traversal, and encryption standards.
• Experience with Linux and Windows networking internals and socket programming.
• Ability to write technical documentation and communicate effectively.

Nice to have

• Experience in startup or fast-paced environments.
