Data Governance Intern

Data Governance Intern: Supporting the Data Governance team in defining frameworks, managing data quality, and developing Power BI dashboards with an accent on data modeling, quality scorecards, and business insights. Focus on performing complex data analysis, collaborating with data stewards, and implementing data quality reports.

What you will do

• Define and implement data governance frameworks and policies.
• Design functional data models balancing efficiency and business needs.
• Maintain data dictionaries, produce data quality scorecards, and coordinate cleaning actions.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for data analysis and monitoring.
• Perform complex data analysis using SQL and Python to identify and correct data issues.
• Collaborate with Data stewards and Analysts to optimize user experience and meet business needs.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program in Big Data, Analytics, or similar
• Internship or experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation
• Understanding of data modeling concepts
• Knowledge of Python is a plus
• English proficiency at least B2
