What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure server-side applications and APIs.
• Set up and configure server APIs, including API gateways and service-to-service communication.
• Work with various database storage solutions, including relational, in-memory, and NoSQL databases.
• Deploy and manage applications on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Implement various testing methodologies such as unit, integration, BVT, scale, and performance testing.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of professional experience in software development, with at least 5 years focused on high-scale backend server engineering.
• Expertise in designing, building, documenting, and consuming complex server APIs (REST/GraphQL).
• Proficiency in major backend languages like Python, Java, or C++.
• Strong understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server), including query optimization, indexing, and schema design.
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a directly related field.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying large-scale microservices and distributed systems.
• Good understanding of networking, data storage, and security.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Understanding of heavily regulated or high-traffic environments (e.g., FinTech, e-commerce).
• Prior experience in leading technical projects and mentoring junior engineers.
