What you will do

• Build and refine the Zenni website focusing on user experience improvements and technical innovations.
• Translate product requirements into technical initiatives, solutions, and launch plans.
• Define and track key engineering metrics to measure engineering success and drive continuous improvement.
• Work closely with product, design, QA, and global teams to ensure successful delivery of high-quality products.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies, industry trends, and user behaviors to inform technical strategy and development.
• Mentor team members and model best coding practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of work experience in web development.
• Proficient understanding of HTML5, CSS3 (LESS and SASS), Bootstrap, JavaScript (jQuery and React).
• Working knowledge with Git, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
• Extensive knowledge of web accessibility and front-end performance.
• Desire to deliver work in a fast-paced agile environment.
• Must be located in Shanghai, China.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge with Next.JS or Java.
