Location: Must be based in the San Francisco Bay area, California, US, and able to work in the Mountain View office 3 days a week. From January 26, 2026, the in-office requirement will increase to 4 days a week if living within 50 miles of the office.

Salary: Base pay for this role in the San Francisco Bay area or New York City metropolitan area ranges from USD $188,000 – $304,200 per year for IC5 level roles.

What you will do

• Build secure and performant APIs that power Copilot iOS and Android applications.
• Collaborate with iOS, Android engineers, Product Managers, platform engineers, data scientists, and marketing to drive user growth, engagement, and retention.
• Optimize onboarding flows, improve product features, and deliver scalable infrastructure.
• Ship high-quality, well-tested, secure, and maintainable code.
• Partner closely with data science teams to analyze user behavior and optimize product features.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, design-driven product development cycle.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 6+ years of technical engineering experience.
