What you will do

• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for Core Services and Game Servers domains.
• Contribute hands-on to design and develop secure, scalable microservices and APIs.
• Drive improvements in cloud infrastructure, security, observability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, architects, and engineering teams.
• Promote DevSecOps, Infrastructure-as-Code, and shift-left testing practices.
• Explore and implement AI-assisted engineering and AIOps tools to enhance workflows.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid role based in Montreal, Canada
• 10+ years software development experience with cloud-based distributed systems (AWS preferred).
• 5+ years experience in microservices architecture and API-first development.
• At least 1 year of technical leadership experience (non-managerial).
• Proficiency in C#, TypeScript, or Go; knowledge of C++, Java, Python is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI/ML fundamentals and AI-assisted engineering tools.
• English proficiency: at least B2 level

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native patterns.
• Strong skills in performance optimization, reliability engineering, and cloud cost management.
