Head of Engineering (Mobile, Backend, AI): Leading multiple cross-functional teams across mobile, backend, and data/AI to oversee engineering delivery, strengthen execution, and shape connected car intelligence with an accent on improving engineering workflows, driving automation, and managing performance and resource allocation. Focus on recruiting top talent, coaching managers and engineers, and translating product vision into clear engineering outcomes, all while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Location: Hybrid (Lithuania). Requires working 3 days in the office in Vilnius and/or Kaunas, and 2 days from home.

Salary: 6000 EUR/Month (Gross)

What you will do

• Oversee engineering delivery across all domains, ensuring teams ship reliably, maintain high quality, and meet roadmap commitments.
• Lead people and teams by recruiting top talent, coaching managers and engineers, supporting team health, and managing performance and resource allocation.
• Improve engineering workflows, identify bottlenecks, drive automation, refine pipelines, and continuously raise the bar on speed and efficiency.
• Partner closely with Product to understand priorities, plan execution, resolve dependencies, and translate product vision into clear engineering outcomes.
• Own engineering culture by promoting accountability, continuous improvement, strong technical standards, and a collaborative mindset.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading multiple engineering teams or departments in a product-driven environment.
• Strong technical foundation in backend, mobile, or data engineering, with the ability to challenge architectural decisions and guide teams toward scalable solutions.
• Demonstrated success running day-to-day engineering operations, including delivery, performance management, hiring, processes, and organisational scaling.
• A track record of driving measurable improvements in quality, velocity, reliability, or cost.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling strong alignment with engineering, product, and leadership stakeholders.
• A practical, delivery-focused mindset, strong leadership, and a passion for building high-performing teams.
• Professional fluency in Lithuanian and strong spoken and written English skills.
