What you will do

• Develop and optimize database solutions within financial services.
• Integrate Oracle solutions with trading and post-trade systems.
• Ensure database performance and reliability through tuning.
• Support financial processes related to Short Sell and SBL workflows.
• Work with capital markets, trading operations, and settlement processes.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Database Developer within financial services or capital markets.
• Proven expertise in PL/SQL, Oracle APEX, and database performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of Short Sell and SBL (Securities Borrowing and Lending) workflows and related financial processes.
• Solid knowledge of capital markets, trading operations, and settlement processes.
• English: B2 fluency required.
• Availability for remote work based in Portugal.

Nice to have

• Experience with FIX protocol, ISO 15022 or 20022, or SWIFT messaging.
• Exposure to data warehousing, ETL, or BI tools.
