What you will do
- Lead and grow the platform engineering team fostering ownership, reliability, and continuous improvement.
- Own platform strategy and roadmap, prioritizing initiatives and managing team capacity.
- Provide technical direction for AWS- and Kubernetes-based infrastructure and tooling.
- Oversee cloud infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD pipeline improvements.
- Champion observability, reliability, and incident response practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, security, and operations teams to align standards and support integrations.
Requirements
- Location: Hybrid role based in Berlin, Germany
- English: Proficient communication skills required
- 3+ years experience leading engineering teams.
- Strong background in platform, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering.
- Expertise with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and operating distributed systems at scale.
Nice to have
- SRE experience and familiarity with SOC 2/ISO 27001 compliance.
- Knowledge of TypeScript, Python, or Go programming languages.
- Experience in private markets, fintech, or regulated industries.
