What you will do

• Lead and grow the platform engineering team fostering ownership, reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Own platform strategy and roadmap, prioritizing initiatives and managing team capacity.
• Provide technical direction for AWS- and Kubernetes-based infrastructure and tooling.
• Oversee cloud infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD pipeline improvements.
• Champion observability, reliability, and incident response practices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, security, and operations teams to align standards and support integrations.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid role based in Berlin, Germany
• English: Proficient communication skills required
• 3+ years experience leading engineering teams.
• Strong background in platform, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering.
• Expertise with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and operating distributed systems at scale.

Nice to have

• SRE experience and familiarity with SOC 2/ISO 27001 compliance.
• Knowledge of TypeScript, Python, or Go programming languages.
• Experience in private markets, fintech, or regulated industries.
