What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain trading engine features such as risk management, pricing, and order management
• Collaborate with quantitative analysts and product teams to optimize and develop new models and algorithms
• Maintain and optimize order management, margin, and risk management systems
• Work independently and as part of a team to gather requirements, plan, and execute implementations

Requirements

• Location: Remote work with presence in Hong Kong
• 5+ years programming experience in Java for quantitative or latency-sensitive applications
• Strong understanding of modern software development practices (TDD, BDD, DDD, SOLID)
• Experience in financial trading applications at hedge funds, banks, or exchanges preferred
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and testing

Nice to have

• Experience developing execution algorithms and risk management systems
• Knowledge of FX/crypto spot and derivatives markets
• Familiarity with KDB/q language
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
