Cloud Performance Engineer

Salary: $146,520.00 – $277,880.00 USD annually

What you will do

• Track and analyze cloud instances and workloads across major CSP offerings.
• Drive architecture and performance analysis/positioning of CPUs used in cloud.
• Identify key features on hirify.global platforms and lead benchmarking execution.
• Develop a strong understanding of best-known methods in data representation.
• Create compelling collateral for launch and field enabling activities.
• Build a strong network and partner with various teams including product, engineering, marketing, and sales.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 3+ years, or PhD with 2+ years in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience working in the computer industry.
• Experience with computer architecture and performance benchmarking.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent written communication and demonstrated presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Business acumen on key market segments including cloud, enterprise, HPC, and Edge.
• Knowledge of key benchmarks in the datacenter.
• Ability to assess competitive potential of future platform products.
• Prior experience with system configuration, testing, and benchmarking.
