What you will do

• Develop full-stack features using C#, .NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL
• Write and optimize SQL queries for high performance
• Design and implement event-driven workflows with Event Store
• Enhance search and data projections using ElasticSearch
• Modernize platform components to .NET 8+ and Svelte.js with containerized deployments
• Automate infrastructure using Pulumi and Azure DevOps

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work in Alderley Edge, UK
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with scalable systems
• Strong experience with C#/.NET and SQL Server performance tuning
• Solid frontend skills in HTML5, CSS3, Flexbox, and CSS Grid
• Experience with distributed systems, monoliths, or microservices
• English: Proficient (B2) required

Nice to have

• Experience with ElasticSearch, Event Store, Neo4j, InfluxDB, Seq, Power BI
• Micro-ORM experience such as PetaPoco
• Open-source contributions or personal coding projects
• Cloud infrastructure experience, especially Azure
• Strong grasp of clean code principles, OOP design, and software patterns
