Salary: $160,000–$240,000 USD (yearly), plus pre-IPO equity.

What you will do

• Design and deploy internal APIs and workflows to power communication across services.
• Create robust, scalable microservices for real-time, high-volume data needs.
• Architect backend systems built for scale, resilience, and speed.
• Partner cross-functionally to turn complex challenges into scalable solutions.
• Safeguard system reliability by building monitoring, alerting, and logging tools.
• Drive impactful technical initiatives in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience building microservices heavy backend systems and APIs for internal applications on a cloud environment (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Advanced proficiency with Go.
• Experience building and scaling backend systems and designing enterprise scale APIs.
• Highly focused on delivering results for internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to influence and collaborate.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
• Experience with DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CDK).
