Salary: $112,500–$132,000

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end Vertex implementation projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, and deployment.
• Configure and optimize Vertex tax processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with global tax regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify gaps, and design scalable tax solutions.
• Provide expertise in SAP tax configuration, especially in FICO modules, and ensure seamless integration with Vertex.
• Conduct workshops, prepare documentation, and deliver presentations to both technical and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10 years of Consulting experience involving end-to-end project implementations.
• 5+ years of hands-on Vertex configuration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Vertex tax configurations, processes, and third-party interface setup.
• Experience of working in complex interfaces including data flows and validations.
• Demonstrated leadership in coordinating cross-functional teams and delivering best-practice solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, prior experience in working with onsite offshore teams delivering project milestones.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in high-tech or software industries.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field or CPA or equivalent certification.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to align solutions with global tax compliance standards.
