TL;DR
Senior Software Engineer (Java/Kotlin): Building and optimizing core domain services in a PaaS environment on top of infrastructure layer with an accent on breaking down problems and applying appropriate designs and practices. Focus on delivering high-quality software, technical communication, and supporting a positive work environment.
Location: Remote in Poland with expectation to be in the office in Katowice once per quarter. Must be based in Poland and have sponsorship to live and work in Poland.

What you will do
- Break down customer problems into actionable work for the team.
- Independently complete tasks from start to finish with high quality.
- Produce designs for new and existing features.
- Clearly communicate technical concepts with others in the organization.
- Provide on-call support for services owned by the team.
- Focus on software development best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience developing enterprise-grade software with understanding of testing and quality assurance processes.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in JVM application development.
- Experience with and knowledge of Java+Spring or Kotlin+Ktor.
- Experience with and knowledge of Microservices Architecture, NoSQL databases (DynamoDB is preferred), Kubernetes, and AWS services.
- Experience with IaaC (Terraform is preferred) and Observability (Loki or OpenSearch, Jaeger or Tempo, Prometheus, Grafana preferred).
- Strong understanding of Service Ownership and DevOps culture.
- Strong written and oral English and Polish language.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Golang.
