What you will do

• Design and build robust, scalable backend services using Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and Kafka
• Own the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment and support
• Implement and maintain microservices architecture in production
• Apply CI/CD and test automation practices
• Ensure code quality and maintainability while mentoring team members

Requirements

• Must be residing in Warsaw and eligible to work in Poland
• 6-8+ years of experience in production-grade Java applications
• Experience with Spring Boot, microservices, Docker, Gradle, and cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL)
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins
• Interest or experience in AI/ML integration in software development

Nice to have

• Experience with Kotlin or TypeScript
• Familiarity with Angular frontend framework
• Experience with RESTful APIs and gRPC
• Knowledge of observability tools like Elastic Stack, Prometheus, and Grafana
