What you will do

• Define and deliver end-to-end technical architectures for digital applications and integrations using modern cloud and microservices technologies.
• Collaborate with product owners, engineering teams, and senior stakeholders to translate digital strategies into actionable technical designs.
• Drive adoption of cloud-native, API-first, and DevOps practices to accelerate delivery and improve resilience.
• Establish and maintain technical governance frameworks ensuring compliance with security and performance standards.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing guidance on technology choices and architectural trade-offs.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies and contribute to communities of practice fostering knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Southampton, UK
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Next.js, React, and .NET technologies.
• Experience designing scalable, secure cloud-native solutions and leading architecture sessions.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps and modern development practices.
• Experience working in agile environments and preferably in the financial sector.
• Exposure to structured architecture frameworks such as TOGAF is advantageous.

• Experience in financial services or wealth management domain.
• Working knowledge of business-as-usual and change management in agile settings.
