What you will do

• Lead architecture and implementation of a scalable, distributed front-end platform using modern modular patterns.
• Design core platform services such as Identity, Navigation, Global State, and Inter-App Communication.
• Define and enforce coding standards and integration patterns to ensure application isolation and performance.
• Influence multiple product teams by establishing shared component libraries and design system standards.
• Drive architectural improvements for performance, scalability, and user state preservation.
• Mentor senior engineers, review complex designs, and collaborate with DevOps on deployment strategies.

Requirements

• Location: Fully remote within the U.S.
• 10+ years software engineering experience with focus on high-scale web applications.
• 8+ years front-end architecture experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and micro frontends.
• Proven leadership in cross-functional technical initiatives and platform re-architecture.
• Strong expertise in distributed systems architecture, API design, and complex state management.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and executive audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated industries such as Healthcare, Legal, or FinTech.
• Familiarity with legacy protocols and bridging legacy systems.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes.
