What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of data engineers and data analysts.
• Define and communicate the strategic vision for data infrastructure to enable self-service analytics.
• Oversee the design and development of scalable data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and delivering high-quality data.
• Implement data quality frameworks, monitoring systems, and validation processes.
• Partner with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to design and implement complex data models and analytical solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and innovation within the team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in data engineering or software engineering, including 4+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong expertise in building and optimizing large-scale data pipelines using modern data technologies (in AWS).
• Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions (Amazon Redshift, dbt, Tableau).
• Proficiency in SQL and Python along with strong knowledge of data modeling principles.
• Solid understanding of database systems, including SQL, NoSQL, and distributed database concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
