Salary: $155,656 - $225,160 USD + equity + benefits (for US candidates). $191,014 - $236,834 CAD + equity + benefits (for Canada candidates).

What you will do

• Develop and maintain tools to enhance efficiency for Poe and Quora product developers.
• Contribute to building and maintaining reusable components.
• Collaborate with product teams to understand developer pain points and workflow challenges.
• Drive initiatives and proposals to address developer challenges and integrate new frameworks.

Requirements

• Availability for meetings and impromptu communication during Quora's coordination hours (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time).
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of experience with large-scale codebases and web application frontend architecture.
• 4+ years of experience building APIs for large teams.
• 2+ years of experience with React and GraphQL.

Nice to have

• Experience or strong interest in building tools for developers or client-side performance.
• Experience with NextJS, Relay, or similar modern web frameworks.
• Interest in full-stack development.
• Passion for building reliable, performant consumer internet products.
