What you will do

• Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services for global travel platforms.
• Drive technical design for multi-quarter projects and ensure codebase health and performance.
• Partner with business stakeholders to align technical stacks with business outcomes and provide architectural alternatives.
• Implement holistic solutions for integration, testing, and monitoring to ensure operational excellence.
• Lead communities of practice and provide formal mentorship to junior engineers.
• Advocate for best practices in unit testing, resilience, and system scalability.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience with a focus on backend systems.
• Strong proficiency in Java or Kotlin is strongly preferred.
• Experience designing high-throughput, scalable services on cloud platforms.
• Proven ability to mentor at least 3 individuals.
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field or equivalent industry experience.
