What you will do

• Develop reliable, scalable, and high-performance network designs and implementation plans.
• Collaborate with engineering and program management teams on network architecture and requirements.
• Contribute to the design, implementation, and operation of network technologies, analyzing traffic patterns for capacity needs.
• Continuously review network architecture to identify risks and improve security.
• Operate networking solutions with high quality and develop robust automation tools to increase engineering efficiency.
• Define telemetry analytics and quality metrics to improve problem detection and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• 4+ years technical experience in building or managing large-scale data center networks, network design, development, and automation.
• Proficient in BGP, MPLS VPN, Anycast routing, VLAN/Spanning Tree, TCP/IP, DNS, network security, and virtualization core technologies.
• 4+ years of experience working with other teams and services to design and implement secure network architectures.
• 2+ years of experience deploying and troubleshooting key cloud network technologies such as Express Route, Load balancer, or Firewall.
• Solid background in programming, with proficiency in Python, Bash, PowerShell, and C#.
• English: B2 required.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of knowledge and understanding of network concepts.
• Able to work cross-functionally in a global organization with diverse partners in different time zones.
• Experienced with monitoring techniques, tools, alerting, and notification processes.
